So we went for a drive down to Manatee County to find Venice Beach and get some Prehistoric Shark teeth. We drove right past Trajan and Lauren's old place! The water was a bit cold but the weather was so hot! For some reason we were silly enough not to wear sunscreen. The end result is the last picture and a week full of itchy, sensitive skin. Trev got it the worst because he just buzzed his hair. Myself.. well lets just say that I have the inverse of the Florida flag on my back! We did find shark teeth though, I even got my favorite- A Great White tooth!!!
For lunch we found the Soda Fountain which was a place Lauren was trying to show us when we first visited Florida. It was old school soda fountain going back to the 30's style! I got a delicious Sarsaparilla and Trev got a Cream Soda.
At the end of the day we drove back home and happened to pass an outlet mall! :) Weird huh?! Anywho.. this particular outlet mall had my favoritest store.. HARRY AND DAVID!! We got some more Italian Sodas and some dips with sesame chips which are delicious! By this time though the sun was setting and we were a bit sandy from the ocean. So of course what happens- a 50 minute delay to the Sunshine Bridge which is only two lanes!!! Let's just say that made us a bit cranky but the sunset was pretty.
