Following the crowd

Trev and I decided we wanted to fit in with all the other hipsters and make a blog. So here it is. We moved from Utah to Florida summer O8', and live in a great little beach community. We are a hop, skip, and a jump away from places called Sunset beach and Crystal beach just to make you all jealous :) We have really enjoyed living here and have had some really amazing experiences. We found a place called Fort de Soto which is a huge State Park covered in large shells and sand dollars. Howard Park offers some amazing snorkeling and is truly paradise with perfect sandy beaches, breath taking sunsets, and tons of wild life under the waves. We have had many dolphin sightings and even a few close encounters with the native dolphins. And since we live so close to the ocean there are tons of aquariums with sea turtles, dolphins, sting rays (which you can feed), sharks, and sea otters. We are currently looking for places to kayak with manatees!
The downfall (there is always a catch) is that Florida is one of the most car accident prone places I have ever been. People treat red lights like green lights and we have had a few close calls. Oh and the flocks of migrating old people are a whoot, like the other day Trev and I went to a resturant called the Lucky Dill (amazing) and we were the youngest by a good 20 years. But all in all our county is Red so we are still smiling.

more posts to come.
